The Pictus Catfish is a common favorite among community tank-keepers. Growing to roughly 5-6 inches long it is the most popular member of the Pimelodus family in the aquarium fish trade. These catfish will readily eat almost any foods. Like most catfish they are sensitive to high ammonia , and can only be kept in well maintained aquariums. They are social , and we recommend them to be kept in multiples. They are not recommended for tanks with very small or baby fish. They like all fish will eat what they can swallow.
